Center for International Studies, UST

Center for International Studies, UST Established in 1981, the Center for International Studies is Houston's oldest degree-granting center of international higher learning.

Faculty at the Center offer specializations in a broad range of regional, topical, and functional areas. Students may complete an academic major in International Studies or International Development. In addition, they have the option of pursuing a joint major with Catholic Studies, Communication, Economics, Environmental Studies, Political Science, Romance Languages and Spanish. The program is inspired by the U.S. Catholic Bishops' statement on "Catholic Education and the Church's Pastoral Mission."
