We at SillyBox believe passionately in the importance of a fun, loving, stress-free environment for children. Having fun, being silly and playful; the presence of these things in a child’s life is essential to their growth and development and contribute significantly to their cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. Our mission is to provide children in foster care, CPS organizations, and chil

dren in need with materials to encourage and nurture literacy and to create an atmosphere of fun and happiness in which they can thrive. Literacy is currently a huge issue among the young lives of the growing Houston population and one of the biggest inhibitors is the lack of reading material. Our efforts at SillyBox will not only provide reading material for these children but also other fun toys and items. We believe in improving our city and beyond through the nurturing of the children who need it the most.
