🐾 FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR TWO SWEET PUPS 🐾

We’re looking for a very special foster home for a 9-year-old male and 7-year-old female Miniature Schnauzer. ❤️

This is a heartbreaking situation. Their elderly owners have loved and cared for them their entire lives but are no longer physically able to care for them. 💔

Both pups are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, very sweet, cat-friendly, and good with children. They haven’t lived with other dogs, so we aren’t sure how they’ll do, but we believe they would do well.

For now, we’d really like to keep these two together while we get to know them.

📍 They are currently in Ada, Oklahoma, so an Oklahoma (or North Texas) foster would be ideal.

Could you give these two sweet pups the soft landing they deserve? If you can foster—or know someone who might—please reach out tp Lisa at 361-765-1700 or share this post. ❤️🐾

Sometimes love means giving them a new place to call home.

UPDATE:::::Foster FOUND!

🐾 FOSTER NEEDED FOR GHOST! 🐾

Meet Ghost, a precious Miniature Schnauzer who was found wandering the streets of Conroe. 💔 We don’t know how he ended up there, but we do know he deserves a safe place to land.

Ghost is house trained and well mannered—he’s just looking for someone willing to open their home and give him the love and security he’s been missing.

🏡 Ghost needs a foster home!

If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy, please reach out to Lisa at 361-765-1700. And if you can’t foster, sharing this post could help us find the person who can. ❤️

Let’s get Ghost off the streets and into a loving home. 🐾

Today’s Meet & Greet was a huge success!

Amari went home with a new foster who will likely adopt her. Mort, Nola, Kimchi, Rex Sonar & Coco Latte all got adopted.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped today! Special thanks to Melissa, Elizabeth, and Jackie for helping our coordinator June manage the crowd.

Great job to all the adoption counselors who let their adopters know so that we had such a great turnout.

We are very proud of and thankful for all our fosters and volunteers. It was a huge team effort and such a joy to see so many pups find their new homes.

🐾 FOSTER NEEDED FOR AMARI! 🐾

Meet Amari, a gorgeous 6-month-old liver pepper girl who weighs just 7.6 pounds! ❤️

This sweet little girl is kennel trained and beginning her house training with a doggy door. She will need a patient foster who can help her finish mastering the basics and continue building her confidence. Someone that is home more often than not would be perfect to help her with her House training.

Amari would also love a home with another young, playful dog to show her the ropes and keep her company. 🐾

If you have a little room in your heart and home for this adorable girl, Amari would love to meet you!

Please text Lisa at 361-765-1700 if you think you could be the perfect landing spot for Amari.

Sometimes all a puppy needs is a little patience, a playmate, and someone willing to say yes. ❤️

UPDATE:::: Foster FOUND!!

Meet Gunner, a handsome 8-year-old chocolate parti Miniature Schnauzer weighing about 18 pounds. ❤️

Gunner is house trained, well mannered, good with kids, and good with other dogs. He’s also heartworm positive and needs a foster willing to help him through treatment.

Gunner also has significant skin irritation and infections caused by untreated flea dermatitis—not mange. He’ll need oral medications and medicated baths twice a week, but with the right care, we expect his skin to improve and his hair to grow back.

He’s an easygoing boy who simply needs someone willing to give him the care he deserves.

🏡 Could you be Gunner’s foster? If you can provide a calm, loving home and help him get healthy again, please text Lisa at 361-765-1700.

Sometimes the dogs who need us most just need someone to say yes. ❤️🐾

🐾 WE HAVE SOME VERY SPECIAL SCHNAUZERS LOOKING FOR THEIR PEOPLE. 🐾

Sometimes a dog doesn’t need a perfect home.
They just need someone willing to give them a chance. ❤️

We have several sweet pups who need foster homes in HOUSTON, and I’m hoping one of these faces might speak to you - or maybe you know someone who would be just right for one of them.

💜 GYPSY
3 years old • 7 pounds • Liver & tan
Tiny, adorable, cropped ears and docked tail. Gypsy is looking for a foster home where she can settle in, feel safe, and be loved. Is great with kids and other dogs.

🍫 CHOCO LATTE
4 years old • 9 pounds • Liver
Cropped ears and docked tail. Choco Latte is currently working with a trainer to build her confidence and courage. She needs someone patient who will continue giving her encouragement and help her discover what a wonderful little dog she can be.
No children, please, but other dogs would be perfectly fine.

🧂 SALTY DOG - Needs Relief Foster from 8/22-9/5
4 years old • 18 pounds
Salty is also working with a trainer, who will come to his foster home to help him continue making progress. He would do best in a calm, quiet home with only one or two gentle, easygoing dogs and no children.

🏡 AND ONE MORE FOSTER HOME WILL BE NEEDED SOON…
We have another dog coming into rescue in approximately a week. We don't know her yet, but we expect she will likely be a female. We're hoping to find a foster home before she arrives, so we can give her a soft landing and a safe place to decompress.

💗 COULD YOU BE THE ONE?
Maybe you have room for one more little Schnauzer.
Maybe you know someone who does.
Maybe you've been thinking about fostering but haven't taken that first step.
This could be your sign. 🐾

Tell us in the comments: Which one of these pups caught your eye? Or tag someone who might be the perfect foster. Please reach out to Lisa at 361-765-1700 if you can help.

And if none of these dogs is the right fit for you, sharing this post could be the thing that gets one of them home. ❤️
Every foster home means one more Schnauzer gets a safe place to land.
