To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are launching a special community initiative called “25 for 25 Serve Day,” dedicated to investing in the families and future of Gracewood through hands-on projects across our campus.

We would love to invite your church/your family/your team to be part of this meaningful day of service.

Projects may include:

Campus beautification and landscaping
Organizing and preparing family resources
Assembling care kits for moms and children
Special improvement projects around campus
Encouragement and care initiatives for Gracewood families

Our hope is that this day will not only meet practical needs, but also serve as a visible reminder of the incredible community that surrounds the women and children at Gracewood.

Serve Day Details:
June 13th, 2026 9am - 12pm at Gracewood (1617 Elmview Dr.)

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We thank God for the freedoms we enjoy and for the courage and sacrifice of those who defended them with unwavering devotion.

In observance of Memorial Day, our offices are closed today and will reopen tomorrow.

Motherhood is shown through love, patience, sacrifice, and care. At Gracewood, we are proud of the mothers we serve who work tirelessly to provide for their children and lead their families toward a hopeful future. Today, we celebrate every woman who helps children feel supported and valued. Happy Mother’s Day.

Our Hope for the Future Luncheon was a wonderful time of fellowship and fun as we gathered to celebrate 25 years of Gracewood providing Home, Hope, and Healing to children and single mothers in Houston. We are excited to share that thanks to the generosity of over 300 attendees, we set a new fundraising record this year! We are grateful for our community of supporters and friends who have joined us in our mission to serve families in crisis.

2026 recipients of the Home, Hope, and Healing award are Kellye Brooks and The Emmanuel Episcopal Food Pantry for their extraordinary volunteer efforts and years of dedicated service to Gracewood.

Special thanks to our event sponsors: Chase and Christi Smith, Santo Petroleum, Meadows Property Group, and H-E-B for the beautiful floral arrangements.
