It’s been a really hard week for our Spur’N Up Hope family, and I think we all needed today more than we realized.

We had the privilege of spending time with the MENO men, sharing what our horses have to teach us, and in return, these gentlemen blessed us by tackling some much-needed repairs around the barn.

There’s something special about people coming together, learning from one another, lending a hand, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

To the MENO men, thank you for your hard work, your kindness, and the smiles you brought to the barn today. You helped lift some spirits that really needed lifting, and we’re so grateful for each of you. 💜

Our hearts are hurting as we say goodbye to our sweet Coala Valentine.

Coala was one of our gentlest souls. Affectionate, patient, and always willing to offer a little comfort to anyone who needed it. She taught us that sometimes the greatest connection happens without a single word.

As heartbreaking as it was, we knew it was time to free her from her pain.

Rest easy, sweet girl. Thank you for the love, the lessons, and the countless lives you touched.

You will forever be part of our Spur’N Up Hope family. 💜

Today, our hearts are hurting as we share that we’ve had to say goodbye to our sweet Coala Valentine.

Coala had been in tremendous pain, and as much as we wanted more time with her, we couldn’t ask her to keep hurting just so we wouldn’t have to say goodbye.

Coala was one of our gentlest souls. She was affectionate, patient, and seemed perfectly content just being close to someone.

She didn’t need to do anything extraordinary to make a difference. Sometimes all it took was standing quietly while someone wrapped their arms around her.

For the people who came through our gates carrying burdens of their own, those moments meant more than she could ever know.

That’s what made Coala such a special teacher.

We will miss her gentle spirit, her affection, and the quiet way she made people feel safe.

Rest easy, sweet Coala Valentine. You gave so much of yourself to others. Now it’s your turn to rest.

The Meno men were hard at work today helping us get the farm ready for Praise in the Pasture tomorrow!

They knocked out some much-needed projects and even managed to squeeze in a little quality time with the horses.

What is equine-assisted learning?

Come experience it for yourself this Saturday at Praise in the Pasture! You'll get 30 minutes to work with our horses and find out why horses are the ultimate teachers. Join Spur’n Up Hope for a mini session and meet our horse teachers.

$10 per participant. Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Sign up before you come.

Praise in the Pasture is almost here!

Join Zach and the Spur’n Up Hope crew Saturday, October 10 from 12–5 PM for an afternoon at the farm.

We’ll have live worship, powerful testimonies, horses, food, baptisms, prayer, and Horse Connection experiences, plus a chance to learn more about what we do at Spur’n Up Hope.

We’re also offering Mini Equine-Assisted Learning Sessions from 11 AM–12 PM and 2–3 PM. These are hands-on, non-riding sessions that give you a chance to experience how we use horses as teachers. Space is limited and registration is required.
