Christine Dieck, Lady in Waiting of the Krewe of Cleopatra, has been enjoying the Mardi Gras magic for 5 exciting years. Riding with the Hott Mess float, she brings energy, fun, and a whole lot of sparkle to every parade.
One of her most memorable moments is hearing the crowd along the route say, “Oh how pretty those ladies are”—a reminder of the joy and excitement the Krewe brings to everyone watching.
For Christine, it’s all about the friendships formed along the way and the special connections that make each season unforgettable. And of course, she loves catching those coveted bronze doubloons, adding a little extra thrill to the celebration.

Belinda Guidry, Lady in Waiting of the Krewe of Cleopatra, has been part of the magic for 16 wonderful years. Riding with the DWI float alongside her sister, none other than Queen Donna Landry, Mardi Gras has truly become a family affair for Belinda—something that runs deep, especially with her dad having ridden too.
For her, the Krewe is all about connection, tradition, and the joy of sharing it with the people you love most. Belinda encourages everyone to try it at least once—because once you do, you’ll understand the magic. Get involved, join in the activities, and soak up the full experience.
Most of all, she cherishes the time spent with her float sisters, building lasting friendships and making great memories that will stay with her forever.

Christy Quick, Lady in Waiting of the Krewe of Cleopatra, has been part of the magic for 23 wonderful years—and it’s the only Krewe she ever dreamed of joining. From day one, she found exactly what she was looking for and never looked back. Christy treasures the Krewe and the DWI float as her second family—a place where she found the sisters she never had and friendships that mean everything.
When it comes to throws, she loves delighting the crowd with light-ups and stuffed animals, bringing smiles to faces all along the route. And when Mardi Gras season rolls around, you can bet she’s enjoying her favorite treat—ooey-gooey Bavarian cream king cake.
For Christy, it’s more than parades and parties—it’s about connection, tradition, and the joy of sharing it all with the people who’ve become family. 💜💚💛

Celebrating Queen Cleopatra ###IX Donna Landry, a proud member since 2002, riding with Karla Yelverton’s “Just Dill With It” float. Donna had an amazing time spent with her incredible ladies — full of laughter, memories, and the kind of sisterhood that makes Mardi Gras so special. From beautiful floats to unforgettable moments together, the spirit of the season truly shines thru her. The Queen’s symbol beautifully combines the Eye of Ra and the Ankh, representing the protective mother and the key of life — a powerful emblem of strength, protection, and legacy. She lives by the words “Laissez les bon temps rouler!” and wants to remind us all to enjoy ALL YEAR LONG! Celebrate the joy, tradition, and sisterhood that keeps the good times rolling. All Hail Queen Cleopatra ###IX Donna Rhodes Landry
