Every step forward matters.

Paul has been attending classes at the CRC, meeting with our resource navigators, and taking advantage of the resources available to him. Most recently, he obtained his birth certificate—a milestone that opens the door to employment, identification, housing, and so much more.

We're very proud of the work Paul is putting in to build a brighter future!

We were so thrilled to host today’s Community Care Drive, welcoming 167 friends for hamburgers, hot dogs, all the fixings, AND great conversations and connections.

Today wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of the Hot Springs National Park Rotary, whose Community Enhancement/Environmental Committee selected the Community Resource Center as one of the beneficiaries of this year's service project. Through their donation drive, much-needed items were collected and donated to both The Giving Team Inc. and the CRC (make sure to look through all the pictures to find the impressive donation table)!

Around here, we know that a meal is never just a meal. It's a time to be reminded that community shows up for one another. To everyone who gave their time, resources, and hearts today: thank you.

Together, we are building a better Hot Springs!

Good morning! The Hot Springs Community Resource Center is currently in need of reading glasses in strengths ranging from +1.00 to +3.50. Clearer vision helps our guests complete paperwork, read documents, and make it through the day with more independence.

Glasses may be dropped off Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm at 109 Hobson Avenue (turn right at the corner of Hobson & Charteroak). Thank you for helping us help those in need!

Spend any amount of time at the Hot Springs Community Resource Center, and you'll quickly realize that the little things in life often become the big things.

A dream shared
Plans made
Friends gathered..seeds planted

We are absolutely thrilled to be partnered with the Jade Earth Project and to watch years of dreaming come to fruition through the dedication and hard work of passionate people who believe in feeding their community.

Our hope for this garden reaches far beyond each harvest. We want to provide fresh, nutrient-rich produce for the meals served at the CRC while also creating opportunities for our neighbors to learn how to grow food themselves.

There is empowerment in planting a seed, caring for it, and watching it flourish.

Already growing is a wonderful variety of fresh produce, including heirloom tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, squash, peppers, basil, onions, eggplant, and so much more.

As you've probably realized, this garden is about more than a good variety of vegetables.

It's about nourishment, education and sustainability.

And it means that a fresh hope is taking root right here, right now.

We simply cannot wait to watch it grow with you.

THANK YOU to the Jade Earth Project, the generous donors who made this all possible, the hard working volunteers, and to Justyn Sheets Landscaping for providing, delivering, and unloading just under 5 yards of beautiful soil to fill our beds!

Compassion extends to every member of the family, including the four-legged ones.

On June 9th we had a tail-waggin-good time at the Hot Springs Community Resource Center! 🐾

Thanks to the generosity of Temperance Hill Animal Hospital, Dr. Dent Burks and Myra, Dr. Greg Taylor, and City of Hot Springs Animal Services we were able to host a Flea, Tick, Parvo, and Rabies clinic for the pets of people experiencing homelessness in our community (45 dogs & 1 cat, to be exact)! We're also extending a special thank you to Hollywood Feed - Hot Springs for their donations!

We're so grateful to our community partners for making sure these precious companions stay healthy and protected.

To support the ongoing needs of our furry friends at the CRC, we have a designation for them on our online giving page.

The link is in the comments below — thank you!
