Garland County Habitat for Humanity is inviting community members to participate in a series of public input sessions as the organization begins developing its new strategic plan. These sessions are designed to gather valuable feedback from residents about the future of Habitat for Humanity and the state of housing in Garland County.
The input sessions will focus on key topics such as affordable housing, housing shortages, and current housing challenges facing the community. Feedback collected will play an important role in shaping the organizationβs goals and priorities for the coming years.
βThese sessions are an opportunity for us to listen directly to the community we serve,β said Cindy Wagstaff, Executive Director. βWe want to better understand the needs, concerns, and ideas of Garland County residents as we plan for the future.β
Community members are encouraged to attend one of the following sessions:
Tuesday, April 28 at 5:00 PM β Transportation Depot
Thursday, April 30 at 1:00 PM β Garland County Library
Monday, May 4 at 1:00 PM β Coronado Center, Hot Springs Village
The sessions come at a pivotal time for the organization, as Habitat for Humanity enters a new phase of growth with the development of its central campus. The campus will include a new administration office and construction warehouse, helping to expand the organizationβs capacity to serve more families in need of safe, affordable housing.
