Hey folks. The Spa City Blues Society is looking for some good people to be a part of our organization. If you are motivated to do good things in the community, have fun and enjoy the blues, then here's your opportunity!

We are looking for potential board and committee members. Elections will be coming up in October/November. We have 7 board of director positions and several committee chair spots available for interested and motivated people.

Coming up Labor Day Weekend is the annual Hot Springs Blues Festival. We need around 100 volunteers for the Friday through Sunday event. We'll need volunteers to help with admission, merchandise sales, stage hands, security and several other jobs. Work a shift and the rest of the festival is free for you!

If you are interested in volunteering or becoming a leader in the SCBS, contact us by messaging us on facebook or go to our website, www.spacityblues.org, and send us an email.

HOT SPRINGS CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL MOVED TO HOT SPRINGS CONVENTION CENTER:

As you’re certainly aware, there is considerable uncertainty and concerns about a strong possibility of thunderstorms tomorrow. While the primary ingredient for beer is water, thunderstorms and festivals do not have a good relationship.

Factoring in a very gracious offer from Visit Hot Springs and Turf Catering, the decision has been made to relocate the Hot Springs Craft Beer Festival to the Hot Springs Convention Center. The hours are still the same, 6:00pm-9:00pm, but the new location is Hall A.

So keep your plans to support The Spa City Blues Society, just change them to do it at 134 Convention Boulevard. For more information and ticket sales visit www.hscraftbeerfest.com
