Stop by the corn booth at the Fayette County Fair this year and support local veterans with your purchase.

Main Character Monday
Irving Rice, also known as the "Corn Man, has been an icon at the Fayette County Fair for ten years. He started dressing up to show his support for the corn booth that supports the veterans. Irving himself is an Air Force Veteran, and a POW from the Vietnam War. Before becoming the "Corn Man," Irving spent time at the Fayette County Fair with the old time fiddler's picking the banjo and playing guitar. When asked how long he would continue the tradition of being the "Corn Man," Irving says, "I'll keep going 'til I can't no more. I could never be anything else."
