For our May Social, WMATA will meet at Steel Toe Brewing in Saint Louis Park with an optional group ride exploring some of the best and worst of biking in Saint Louis Park.

Location: Steel Toe Brewing, 4848 W 35th St, St Louis Park, MN 55416. Transit Options include Routes 17, 38 and 615. Easy bike access from the South Cedar Lake Trail.

Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Optional group ride will leave Steel Toe at 5:30 and be back to STB by 6:00 pm. The majority of the ride will be on regional trails, protected bike paths or neighborhood streets with a portion on Excelsior Bilvd. For those not comfortable riding with traffic the sidewalk is always an option.

Since the start of the war with Iran at the end of February, gas prices have risen from around $2.80 to over $4. The spike in fuel costs have encouraged Minnesotans to look for other ways to get around.

It was great to see so many Mayors, other Electeds, and strong, supportive Leaders celebrating the official re-opening of the Cedar Lake and Kenilworth trails yesterday!
