Crafting with Plarn! - Tuesday, October 29th from 6:00pm-7:30pm

Grades 6-12. Did you know that only 4% of plastic grocery bags are ever recycled? Breathe new life into these bags by learning to fuse them into useable, waterproof “fabric” for stitching and also create “plarn” (plastic yarn!), then use these recycled materials to create a useable stitched pouch! Materials provided. Collaborator: Textile Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
