I’m pleased to share that Open Circle of Hopkins recently hosted a visit with Minnesota State Representative Cheryl Youakim, who represents Hopkins, Edina, and St. Louis Park.

Together with a team from LeadingAge Minnesota, we had the opportunity to discuss the many benefits that adult day services provide to older adults, caregivers, and our communities. We also shared some of the challenges facing our industry and highlighted the important role adult day services play in helping individuals remain connected, supported, and living in their communities.

We appreciate Representative Youakim’s willingness to learn more about the impact of adult day services. We look forward to working with her and other community leaders to strengthen support for the individuals and families we serve.

Open Circle Hopkins thanks all of you who were able to attend our open house celebrating National Adult Day Services week. The choir shared our new Open Circle theme song and invited guests to join in; yes it’s a very catchy chorus! We unveiled our Process paintings from all five OC sites and had the opportunity to share other creative pieces from our grant artist programming. Some of the guests also tested out our physical programs with a little axe throwing.

Open Circle Adult Day Services of Buffalo celebrated Intergenerational day! We han kids come in and play keep it up with the balloons. Coloring fall pictures and just a fun filled play day! Members enjoyed watching them run after balloons and created a lot of smiles all around the room 😄

In honor of National Adult Day Services Week, we're celebrating members like Vi, who at 103 years old continues to find friendship, fun, and connection at Open Circle of Princeton. ❤️

Buffalo Open Circle Adult Day Services Adult Day center had the privilege to have Polka Soul come and play for us today!
Started out the day with culinary class making homemade pretzels for our afternoon snack.
Traveled to Germany 🇩🇪 and enjoyed our polka music as much as our pretzels and cheese 🙂
