Harvest Regional Food Bank will distribute TEFAP USDA Food Boxes to Hempstead Co Residents

Harvest Regional Food Bank will distribute TEFAP USDA Food Boxes directly from their truck on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 8:30 am – 10:30 am or until all boxes have been distributed. The truck will be parked at the Fair Park Coliseum, located at 800 S Mockingbird Ln, Hope, AR.

Recipients must come inside the Southwest Dist. Livestock Show Coliseum building to check in first. Check-In starts at 7 am. Once checked in, recipients will go back to their vehicle and proceed to line up around the baseball field next to the coliseum. Volunteers will be on hand to help assist. Next Mobile Pantry is June10, 2026.

Recipients must bring updated DL with their current address or photo identification verifying they are a resident of Hempstead County, and proof of address is required. Distribution is limited to 1 box per household and 2 households per vehicle.

Special thanks to Clinton Primary for holding a food drive for Hope In Action. A total of 1,643 cans of food were donated by students, faculty and staff. We are thankful! 💚

Hope in Action Receives Support from Hunger Alliance to Feed Local Families

Hope In Action is grateful to receive a 1,500 dollar grant from the Texarkana Area Community Foundation this week. This support helps us keep our Soup Kitchen stocked with the essentials we use every day. Paper plates, carry out containers, cups, utensils, paper towels, toilet tissue, and more all add up, and this grant makes a real difference.

The Texarkana Area Community Foundation funded 60 organizations this year with a total of 120,000 dollars. We are honored to be one of them and thankful for their ongoing commitment to our community. 💚

Rifle season opens tomorrow. Good luck to all the hunters out there! Remember, you can help feed the hungry by donating a portion of your deer meat to Hope In Action. If you’re a customer of JACO Meats, ask them about donating to HIA! They’ll even drop it off for you!
