Heavenly Father,

We thank You for this new school year and for bringing us together here at Garrett. We are grateful for the gift of learning, the friends we will make, and the teachers who will guide us.

Bless our classrooms with peace, our hallways with kindness, and our hearts with courage. Give our teachers wisdom, patience, and joy in their calling. Give each student curiosity, focus, and compassion for one another.

Protect us in our coming and going, and help us to face challenges with determination and grace. May we grow not just in knowledge, but also in understanding, respect, and love.

We place this school year into Your hands, trusting You to guide our steps and shape our hearts.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the hands and hearts behind the scenes at GMCS—our all of support staff and our sweet librarian. Bless them as they clean, organize, repair, file, shelve, copy, comfort, and somehow keep everything running smoothly. Give them joy in what they do, strength for the busy days, and the knowledge they are loved and appreciated..

We’re so grateful for their faithful service and quiet strength.
