We would like to Congratulate the recipients of the Hempstead County Farm Bureau scholarships for 2026! The recipients and their families recently attended a reception with our board members.

Chase Dice is the son of Cory and Kelley Dice, and a graduate of Prescott High School. He plans to attend UAHT-Hope to obtain his Electrician’s Certification.

Baylee Pogue is the daughter of Jason and Allison Pogue, and a graduate of Garrett Memorial Christian School. She plans to attend Southern Arkansas and major in Radiology and Sonography.

Carly Foster is the daughter of Michael Foster and Amanda Cummings, and a graduate of Spring Hill High School. She plans to attend Texas A&M-Texarkana and major in Radiology.

Madilynn Townsend is the daughter of Brad and Devonna Townsend, and a graduate of Spring Hill High School. She plans to attend UAHT-Hope and major in Elementary Education.

Justin Myrick is the son of Jerry and Brandi Myrick, and graduate of Nevada High School. He plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in Accounting and Finance.

Grace Easterling is the daughter of Jon and Heather Easterling, and a graduate of Hope High School. She plans to attend Arkansas Tech University and major in Accounting.

Joelys Lopez is the daughter of Cesar Moreno and Karina Arguello, and a graduate of Hope High School. She plans to attend UAHT-Hope and major in Nursing.

We had a great time today celebrating National Hospital Week with the employees of Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center. We provided lunch for approx 85 staff members in appreciation of the medical care that they provide to our communities !

Thank you to all of our member families that stopped by yesterday during our annual Member Appreciation Event. The final numbers from last night were amazing - 35 volunteers, 338 lbs of meat, 348 total volunteer hours serving our members and 739 plates served ! Thank you to all of our volunteers, our planning committee, the Women's Leadership group (who had different shifts working), the Board of Directors, and our amazing office staff who all pulled together to make last night such a success. We love our members, and you all are the reason we have been able to have a positive impact in Hempstead County for over 92 years !
