Host your own lemonade stand this summer to support children and youth impacted by foster care in Hempstead and Nevada Counties!

We've made it simple and easy to host:

Between the rainforest adventures, crafts, music, and lessons, VBS kiddos also learned about caring for children in foster care. 💙 We were grateful to have a table at Rainforest Falls VBS to share how The CALL serves children and families across Arkansas. Thank you, Missionary Grove Baptist Church, for helping raise awareness and inspire the next generation to care for others!

The CALL is in Rome this week at Rafter J Cowboy Church! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be part of their Vacation Bible School and help children learn about foster care and the needs of vulnerable children in our community.

Thank you to Rafter J for including our table and creating space for these important conversations. We love partnering with churches that are helping raise awareness and inspire families to make a difference. ❤️

🌟 Leadership Limelight: Katie Barnes, Farmers Bank & Trust 🌟

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Katie Barnes of Farmers Bank & Trust!

Katie serves as a Loan Assistant and brings 10 years of banking experience to her role. A proud Hope High School graduate, she is passionate about serving both her customers and her community.

Beyond her work in banking, Katie is deeply involved in making a difference throughout Hempstead County. She became a Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador in 2024 and generously volunteers her time to support local businesses and community initiatives. Her service also includes leadership roles with The CALL of Hempstead & Nevada Counties Leadership Board, the United Way of Hempstead County Gala Committee, Garrett Memorial Christian School Parent Teacher Fellowship, and Unity Baptist Church.

Katie’s dedication to community engagement, servant leadership, and helping others succeed makes her an outstanding member of the Leadership Hope-Hempstead County Class. We are proud to recognize her commitment to making a positive impact wherever she serves!

Today was a meaningful reminder of the strength of our foster care community. Nearly 80 friends representing foster and adoptive families, The CALL leadership teams, and DHS partners from southwest Arkansas came together for fellowship and celebration as we recognized Foster Care Awareness Month. Special thank yous to: Coulter Farmstead for hosting us, First Baptist Church of Hope, AR for providing desserts, Big Jake's BBQ for catering, the Johnson crew for delivery services, and Miley Loe for helping with our temporary tattoo station!
