Get ready for a fantastic day of riding and fun! Join the American Legion Merrill-Follansbee Riders Chapter 37 for our exciting Poker Run on Saturday, September 19th! Cars and motorcycles are welcome, so gather your team or ride solo. Registration kicks off from 10 AM to 12 PM at 5 Riverside St., Hooksett, N.H., where the run also concludes. Your first poker hand is just $20, with additional hands available for $10. Make sure all hands are turned in by 2:45 PM, with winners announced at 3:10 PM. Best of all, every dollar raised will go directly to the Tilton Veterans Home Sunshine Fund. Don’t miss out on this great event for a worthy cause!

🇺🇸💜 National Purple Heart Day – August 7 💜🇺🇸

Today, we honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the brave men and women who were wounded or gave their lives in combat while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

National Purple Heart Day is a solemn reminder of the tremendous price paid for our freedom. We remember those who have borne the wounds of war and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, resilience, and unwavering devotion will never be forgotten.

Today and every day, we extend our deepest gratitude to our Purple Heart recipients and their families. Thank you for your selfless service, your sacrifice, and your enduring legacy.

This Saturday, August 8, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Deerfield Fairgrounds for VET FEST 2026 and the Salute the Troops Car Show! This is FREE, family-friendly event brings our community together to honor and support our veterans with amazing cars, food trucks, live entertainment, veteran resources, kids’ activities, and so much more. Come out and help celebrate our heroes—you won’t want to miss it!
