What things do you recommend bringing with you on flight day?

I'll start:
-Phone charging cord. Our bus has charging ports under the seats!!

-Tissues - I cry. A lot. 😭

-Sunscreen

-Travel toothbrush

-Hand sanitizer

On this Memorial Day our Founder, Joe Byron, visited our dear friend, and the inspiration behind Honor Flight New England - Gerry Hebert.

Gerry, a WWII P.O.W. from Hooksett NH, is the reason Joe started HFNE 17 years ago. And the reason we've been able to provide more than 2,500 Veterans across New England with a day filled with Honor, Dignity, and, Respect.

Today, and every day, WE REMEMBER. We remember Gerry, and all our brothers and sisters, who served this great nation and have been called home.

We were HONORED to join Christina from the Billerica Veterans Services office, and Tina from We Ride So They Fly, to help replace flags and wreaths at Veteran's Memorials throughout the town of Billerica, MA this morning.

Several Heroes from Billerica will be joining us for their Honor Flight next weekend. ❤️🇺🇸❤️

Our Founder, Joe Byron, was thrilled to be invited to speak at the Eastern Essex District Dept of Veterans' Services luncheon yesterday.

He had a wonderful time meeting so many HEROES. We're hopeful many of them choose to fly with us to visit the memorials erected in honor of their service and sacrifice.

We had a wonderful time yesterday at Orientation for our May 31st flight!!

We were thrilled to welcome so many Heroes, and their Guardians, and get to know them each a little bit before our flight. So many beautiful stories were shared throughout the afternoon.

We can't wait to fly in 2 weeks!! ❤️🇺🇸❤️

Our thoughts are with our brothers and sisters at the Massachusetts State Police today, and with the family of Trooper Trainor, who was killed in the line of duty.
