It'll be a busy Saturday for us at Motley! Depending where you are you can catch us out in the community or at our home base.
We will be at one of our favorite events at Pet in Bedford for their Summer Pet Expo from 11am-2pm.
We will also be at Harley-Davidson for Barks & BBQ in Hooksett from 11-4pm where you can enjoy a FREE BBQ, chips, and drinks. FREE treats for pups too!
We will also still have our Open House with extended hours from 11am-5pm in Hooksett. Some of our pups will be working at events but all adoptions will be taking place at Motley Mutts Rescue in Hooksett on Saturday. If you fall in love with a dog at either event we will be happy to arrange the adoption for you at our facility. Simple! Hope to see you out there this Saturday!

Submitting an application before you come is always a good idea but you don't have to. This week we suspect we might have a Prairie Dog mix? Or a dog obsessed with working on their ab muscles?
We'll be around from 2pm-7pm, 114 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett NH.

Motley Mutts Rescue is proud to be a Non-Profit Organization in NH. We've worked hard over the years to rescue dogs who deserve a shot at the good life and in turn enrich the lives to those who adopt them. It's an expensive venture to keep up with since often times the dogs are in worst condition than an adoption fee will cover. It can also be a struggle when the overall costs of everyday continues to rise. We are able to keep rolling down the tracks because of the support of our community. Motley Mutts Rescue is open to the public during open house hours. No application needed to come meet the dogs. Just stop by and spend some time with them.
If you’re thinking about adopting, we strongly recommend submitting an application in advance. Pre-approved adopters can also schedule private meet and greets.
We’re also looking for volunteers. We have in-person and remote opportunities with flexible scheduling.

Quest is one of the dogs who arrived this weekend. He showed up (likely dumped by his owner) at a feeding spot for strays in Alabama. After the rescuer got through leaving food for the strays she noticed this guy following her, begging not to be left behind. This isn't AI, these types of situations are the everyday stories of our friends in the south.
We know people will also watch this and go "how could anyone leave the dogs behind? "I would have a hundred dogs if I was there" and it's not sustainable for people helping. Stray dogs, dumped dogs, injured dogs, pregnant dogs, it's every day in the south. Rescuing your next dog is a choice and it's a meaningful one, so I hope anyone thinking about adding a dog or any pet to their home considers a rescue animal.
Quest will be listed on our website tonight along with the other great dogs we have already and just came in. Thank you for your support so we can continue to help dogs like Quest.
