Another trip to Mississippi to help our Southern rescue partners. It was a first experience for most of our staff members. One we know they'll never forget. It's an experience that will help them better explain to our adopter's when they ask, "Where do they come from?" and they can explain now having a vivid experience of walking through the shelters. Not just a story of what they were told.

An experience that was several days' worth of what our partners in MS live everyday month after month, year after year. The sounds, the smells, sights. Bottle babies, injuries, malnourishment, lack of sunlight, and effects of abuse and abandonment. The weight of max capacity.

The rescue world is very real, and our friends in Mississippi keep showing up. They're so very thankful for folks who choose to adopt and folks who care when they are drowning in people around them who don't.

We have some really fantastic dogs that arrived yesterday and will continue to come up. If you're able to adopt, keep following us because we've got some super special dogs that we'll be posting (starting tomorrow but you may see them in this post as well).
If you can't adopt because you got a full house, donating and volunteering are the next best ideas!
You can do all those things through our website in the comment below.
Thank you for your constant support.

Meet Deckle, the ultimate best boy. He's a 2-year-old bundle of joy, bursting with energy and love for his fellow canine companions. When he's not busy making new friends, you can find him playing a game of fetch or enjoying a pup cup treat. Deckle weighs around 30 pounds, making him the ideal companion for any adventure. Come visit Deckle at our open house event today, Saturday, October 10, from 11am-3pm at 114 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett, NH. Don't miss out on the opportunity to fall in love with this charming boy! ❤️

Our team is wrapping up our last day at in Mississippi. It's been quite a reality check experiencing life in the South for the dogs that are in rescue. We have made connections with lots of dogs here that we can't wait for you all to meet and we can find homes for. We also enjoyed visiting the folks who have become friends over the years who fight for these dogs to get the lives they deserve.

We will be going live around 2pm Eastern time, today, Friday 10/9 from West Point Clay County Animal Shelter for anyone interested in seeing some of the dogs that will be making their way to NH.

Please check out the adorable dogs we still have for adoption at home. Each adoption makes room for more dogs that are in jeopardy in the south.

Meet Gilly!

We thought he should have his own post since he's been through a lot. Gilly was brought in by Animal Control to a shelter in Mississippi a few month ago. He suffered severe neglect which in turn took time to get him to a trusting adoptable state. Gilly is going to need a home with experience since some of his fear and trauma can resurface in new situations. Someone with no kids and someone with Cocker Spaniel experience would be ideal for him. He is 2 years old and 20 pounds. He loves to play with other dogs so other friendly dogs in the home would be great for him. Applications for Gilly are available through our website.
