🌊 MEET OUR 2027 POLAR PLUNGE RECIPIENT: JIMMY LATHAM! 🥶

Don’t put those speedos or bathing suits away just yet! (Yes, we know how ridiculous that sounds in October, but hear us out..). 😅

We are honored to brave the cold this year for retired Lowell police officer, father of four, and true fighter, Jimmy Latham.

For 30 years, Jimmy dedicated his life to serving and protecting the Greater Lowell community. Today, he’s fighting a relentless, nearly 30-year battle against Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Between severe MS flare-ups, strokes, pneumonia, and frequent hospitalizations, the out-of-pocket medical expenses, specialist care, and ambulance bills have stacked up well beyond what insurance covers.

Jimmy served our community for three decades—now it’s our turn to show up for him! 💙

This past weekend we had a meet and greet for our 2026 recipient, Bobby P. you can find his story at the link below. Cavaleiro’s Steakhouse graciously welcomed our event on their normal day off and we wanted to thank them publicly for hosting our kick off.
