Last night we were honored to attend the Boston Pops as guests of Fisher House Boston.
Sitting in beautiful Symphony hall, we couldn’t help but think of Pat and the purpose behind our tournament each year.

Fisher House Boston continues to show up for military families when they need it most, and being able to give back in Pat’s name is something we will never take for granted. This year, thanks to our incredible golfers and sponsors, we were proud to donate $20,000 to Fisher House through the PRC Memorial Golf Tournament.

We also had the privilege of watching Fisher House President Maj. General Gary Keefe guest-conduct a song, and Medal of Honor Recipient Staff Sergeant Ryan Pitts read ’Twas the Night Before Christmas — a truly special part of an unforgettable evening.

Two years ago today Heaven gained a true warrior and hero, Pat Corbett.

Pat was passionate about veteran’s issues and caring for those who have served our nation. This passion led Pat to be a founder and key planner of the US Mechanical Open, a charity golf tournament held for many years to benefit Fisher House Boston, an organization that provides military families housing support free of charge while a loved one is receiving medical care. The US Mechanical Open raised tens of thousands of dollars for Fisher House Boston over several years thanks to the efforts of Patrick and a team of dedicated volunteers.
Following Patrick’s passing on November 16, 2021, the US Mechanical Open was renamed in his memory and to continue his legacy of support for veteran’s issues. Proceeds from The PRC Memorial Golf Tournament currently support Fisher House Boston.

We are so grateful to continue the legacy of the Golf Tournament now in Pats name and memory and we thank all of you, our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, who keep coming back every year and making this bigger and better every year.

Pat’s favorite part at the end of every tournament day was counting the cash and confirming the amount we would get to donate directly to the Fisher House.
This photo was taken shortly after one of the tournament days when he finished counting the cash. It was time to let loose and celebrate another successful tourney and raising funds for Fisher House!

This past Friday was a great day of fun, competition, and raising funds for an important and special cause, Fisher House of Boston. On behalf of the PRC Memorial Golf Tournament Committee, thank you for helping to make this day possible and such a huge success!

Thanks to the generosity and support of our sponsors and players, we are pleased to share that this year’s tournament raised $25,000 for Fisher House Boston, a veteran’s charity with a mission to provide a home away from home where military families can stay, free of charge, while a loved one is receiving medical care.

With this tournament continuing to grow in its second year after being named in memory of our friend, Patrick Corbett, we know we are making him proud and continuing his passion and legacy of support for veterans issues.
