Exciting news! New Hampshire Environmental Educators (NHEE) has been named the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Affiliate Organization Award by the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE)!

This national award recognizes environmental education organizations for their commitment to advancing environmental education through professional development, membership growth, strategic planning, innovative programming, and meaningful partnerships.

Beaver Brook is proud to be an Organizational Member of NHEE and to support its important work. Our involvement includes aligning our curriculum with New Hampshire’s Environmental Literacy Plan (ELP), providing continuing education opportunities for teachers, sharing resources, and serving on NHEE’s Board of Trustees.

Congratulations to NHEE on this well-deserved national recognition!

🎃 Something exciting is happening at Beaver Brook! 🎃

We’re adding a little nature to the Halloween fun. Join us on Friday, October 30, from 4:00–6:00 PM for Trunk or Treat Beaver Brook style.

There will be a Halloween hike, outdoor exploring and Trunk or Treat.

Come in costume, bring the family, and get a jump on Halloween weekend with an afternoon of treats, trails, and a little autumn adventure.

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the amazing educators who show up every day with curiosity, patience, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.

At Beaver Brook, we’re lucky to work with so many educators who help both kids and adults discover the world around them in a classroom, with muddy boots, a magnifying glass, or a trail beneath their feet. 🌿

The Story Walk at Maple Hill Farm has been updated! "Fall Is Not Easy" by Marty Kelley is a silly story about a deciduous tree who just can't get its Fall colors right. And for our frequent visitors-the story walk begins at the picnic table end of the trail now. Have fun out there!

Join us at Beaver Brook Association for a Project WILD Educator Workshop!

This engaging workshop is open to K–12 educators, librarians, youth group leaders, and homeschool parents. Participants will receive the Project WILD curriculum book and 6 hours of professional development.
