This Saturday MAY 8 is the NH Birdathon. We encourage folks to get outside and go birding and report what you find to NH Audubon. As before, we encourage staying close to home, whether in your yard, neighborhood, or town, although more broad-ranging expeditions are also welcome. By registering for Birdathon, you sign up for our Birdathon mailing list to receive more information, including an online species list to let us know what you saw.

There is a beautiful new information kiosk at the Ponemah Bog Trailhead parking lot on Rhodora Drive in Amherst. A crew, under the direction of bog steward George Rolland, completed the design and installation. Please take the opportunity on these sunny days to visit the bog. The team also completed the new NH Audubon poster that is mounted in the kiosk. It contains educational information on the how a kettle hole bog such as Ponemah develops over time.
