Founded in 2008, Last Chance Animal Rescue is a volunteer based nonprofit and our focus is to rescue animals located in "KILL" facilities trapped on death row in rural shelters.

Meet Daisy 🌼 — a beautiful 4-year-old, 60-pound girl who is desperately hoping someone will give her the chance she’s been waiting for. 💔🐾

Daisy is stuck in a shelter, and she needs a foster or adopter to step up and help her leave those kennel walls behind. She has so much life ahead of her, and she deserves to spend it in a loving home—not waiting day after day in a shelter. 🥺

As everyone heads back to school, the memories of this year’s Rescue Day at the The Hampton Classic Horse Show are still fresh in our minds!

It was such a wonderful day for the animals, and we loved being part of this amazing tradition.

A huge thank you to Jill Rappaport and Georgina Bloomberg for hosting this special annual event. We are also incredibly grateful to all our fosters and volunteers who participated and helped make the day such a success. ❤️

Happy Gotcha Day, Fabio! 🐾💖

Today we celebrate the day Fabio found his forever home — and what a lucky day that was for everyone involved!
From the moment he walked into his family’s life, Fabio brought love, joy, and plenty of personality with him. Whether he’s giving the sweetest looks, enjoying his favorite cozy spots, or making his people smile with his little quirks, he reminds us every day why rescue is so special.

A special thank you to our partner, Operation Kindness, his foster family, the Glaubers, and all of our supporters who helped Fabio on his journey.

Fabio, you are so loved, so cherished, and so exactly where you were meant to be. Here’s to many more years of belly rubs, happy naps, adventures, and unconditional love.

Drako is still looking for his happily ever after!

At 9½ years old and about 65 lbs, Drako isn’t looking for a busy household or a house full of playmates. He’s looking for something much simpler — a person of his own to love.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

We need a foster for Jake starting TOMORROW through Tuesday while his foster family is away. We are running out of time and need someone to step up for this amazing survivor.

Jake is 2 years old and 40 lbs and currently lives happily in a foster home with kids, adults and other dogs. He’s a wonderful boy who has already overcome so much—and we desperately want to avoid having to put him into boarding.

Every day, cats and kittens are waiting for their chance to be seen, loved and chosen. We want to give them that opportunity — but we need a place to make it happen.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is searching for affordable retail space or property that we can transform into a welcoming Cat & Kitten Adoption Center — a place where our cats can temporarily live in a comfortable environment while meeting potential adopters and finding their happily ever after. 🏡🐱

Prue, Phoebe, Piper, Ducky, and Reece are just babies, and they should be spending their days playing, napping, and learning what it means to be loved — not growing up in a shelter. 💔🐾

🐶 Prue, Phoebe, Piper— 2-month-old female siblings
🐶 Ducky — 4-month-old male
🐶 Reece — 4-month-old female

These five little ones are stuck in a shelter and desperately need fosters or adopters to step up. They don't need much — just a safe place to land, a little patience, lots of love, and someone willing to give them the chance they deserve. ❤️

Imagine spending your entire puppyhood behind kennel doors. No cozy couch. No family. No backyard zoomies. No one to call your own. 😢

Ahhhh, September. Pumpkin spice, turning leaves, and cool mornings. What better time to Fall in Love?! ❤️🍂

Mitch (black mouth) and Thorn (solid tan) are single and ready to mingle! These happy-go-lucky puppies are ready for plaid, blankets, hayrides and a loving home. They are 8 weeks old and about 6 pounds of bouncy, squiggly adorableness. They will need all the puppy puppy basics: training, structure, patience and lots of love.
