Seed to Cloth in the Chenango Highlands

Here in Central New York, CNY Flaxseed to Fabric Initiative is still a small, evolving project - a few growers, a few steady volunteers, and a vision that continues to take root.

This year:
The flax project stays open to all
Gentle Flax Standards will guide our work
Supporters can help sustain the project
And a new Heritage Cloth Makers Guild will hold the
deeper craft traditions of flax and wool

Small beginnings.
Clear direction.
