House Of Hope Ministries

08/29/2026

House of Hope Friends, I’m asking you to keep us on your hearts as you’re doing your back to school shopping this year. 💛🎒

There are kids right here within our very own communities who will walk into school carrying things most children shouldn’t have to worry about and something as simple as having a new backpack filled with supplies can remind them that someone thought of them. Someone cared. 🥹

It doesn’t take a huge donation. A few notebooks, crayons, pencils… just a couple of items from our Target wishlist can make such a difference for a child who needs it.

If you’re able to add just one or two things to your cart, we would be so grateful. Let’s make sure these kiddos start their school year feeling loved, seen and ready. 🤍✏️🎒

We’re back. 💖

Sometimes ministry is loud, and sometimes it’s quiet.

While our page has been a little quieter these past few months, our hearts for serving Long Island families have never changed.

As another school year approaches, we’re getting ready for our annual Back-to-School Drive. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing ways you can help local children start the school year with confidence.

We can’t wait to serve alongside this amazing community again.

Thank you for being here. ♥️

🎄 Quick update!
We’re so grateful for everyone who has already donated — thank you! ❤️ But we still have a LOT of teens in need. Teen items are always the most overlooked and this year we want to make sure they are cared for just as much as the younger kids.

We added budget-friendly teen items to our wishlists to make it easier to give. If you’re able, please take a moment to shop from our Amazon or Target lists.

Just one item makes an impact. 🎁

🎄 So many families are quietly struggling this season and a small act of kindness can bring real joy to a family facing a tough time. Many teens are forgotten simply because their gifts tend to be pricier — this year, we’re making it a priority to focus on teen gifts. ♥️

✨ God Turned Our Little Into Much — Harvest of Hope 2025 is Complete! ✨

After a long weekend of assembling baskets and getting them out to families on Sunday and Monday, we are so happy to share that our Harvest of Hope outreach is officially complete. This year, we were able to bless 80+ families with Thanksgiving baskets. 🧡🦃🙌🏽

A huge shoutout to the Centerpoint Church Holbrook youth group who spent hours helping us pack everything. You were such an incredible help!

And a very special thank you to Pastor Joel Perez & Leslie Perez — our wonderful friends — for always opening the doors of Centerpoint Church Holbrook to us and supporting House of Hope in every way. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 🙏🏼♥️

This year started off rough, with donations coming in much lower than usual. We honestly didn’t know how we were going to pull it off… but our community showed up. Local businesses, hospital staff, churches, and so many generous individuals stepped in and made it possible!

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. You helped us bring hope, dignity, and joy to dozens of families this Thanksgiving. 🤎✨

With love & gratitude,
The House of Hope Team 🩷
