The 5k was huge a success. 60 participants from age 10 to age 90. Here are the photos and a couple videos, (have to do it in parts because of the numbers of photos). We want to thank everyone for today, and a special thanks to Ann Schmidt and the Daughters of the American Revolution US 12 Heritage trail for putting this together and supporting Wreaths Across America Hillsdale. 60 participants will equal at least 60 wreaths most likely more, and 60 veterans whose names will be read and not forgotten. You can be proud of that. Thank you all!

Today's the day! Our annual 5K!
The leaves are changing, so why not come out and Walk or Run at beautiful Baw Beese Lake and help purchase a Wreath for a local HERO's grave. This year, National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2026. Join millions of volunteers and supporters who will gather to Remember, Honor and Teach at over 5,500 participating locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad. Here in Hillsdale County, we have 5 participating Locations. Three in Hillsdale (Lake View, Oak Grove, and St. Anthony), one in Reading (Maplewood), and one in Jonesville (Sunset View). We'll be placing around 2200 wreaths this year, that makes Hillsdale County #2 in the State of Michigan. Be proud, get some exercise, meet some new friends, and have some fun today!
Thanks Hillsdale County!
