Early Pregnancy Loss Association The EPLA helps bear the burden of grief for women & families who have suffered miscarriage.

After suffering two miscarriages, founder Emily Carrington started working to find a way to support families by covering the medical costs associated with pregnancy loss. To brainstorm this idea a group of women met to examine the current needs and services. From this meeting came the idea for a networking organization that would not only provide financial support but also help to support existing

care and contribute to the burgeoning public conversation about pregnancy loss. The EPLA seeks to meet these needs by:

1) Creating an association of professionals who serve women and families who have experienced early pregnancy loss. Through networking, support, education, and a spirit of unity, medical, ministerial, non-profit, social work, and counseling professionals will be better equipped to serve this community.

2) Increasing awareness through an online presence and providing educational materials in hospitals, doctor's offices, and libraries.

3) Building an endowment to provide financial support for related medical and funeral expenses available to all women and families who have experienced early pregnancy loss. Please join us as we pray that one day no woman or family ever suffer the isolating pain of miscarriage alone.

🍰What a beautiful Spring Tea and Bake-Off. 🍰

This was our first ever event of its kind for us and we were just BLOWN AWAY by the love, care, and preparation put forward from each of our participants. Everything was so beautiful.

And most importantly it was all an act of love and honor for the babies that are not with us and the women with empty arms. We do not gather as those without hope and we do not grieve as those without courage. Instead we can come together in peace and joy - honoring life and motherhood to it's fullest.

Miscarriage can be a very dark and sad place. We must see that and acknowledge that. But we can bring beauty to that place - together - in community.

Thanks to our wonderful contestants, our amazing underwriters, and a generous donor EVERY ticket, every sponsorship, and every dollar earned at the event will be directed to support services.

Ten years in - and this is a movement of care that is only just beginning.
