Tomorrow starts NH Gives!! It runs June 9th at 5pm and ends June 10th at 5pm. We invite you to join us in helping ensure that no child in our community goes hungry over the weekend.
End 68 Hours of Hunger addresses the critical gap between the free lunch a child receives on Friday and the free breakfast they receive on Monday—a period of approximately 68 hours when many children face food insecurity.
In New Hampshire alone, we provided over 132,000 hunger-free weekends and fed more than 3,000 children every weekend in the last school year and even more this current year.
Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and supporters like you, 95% of every dollar donated goes directly to feeding children.
The impact of your gift is immediate:
$15 provides a weekend food bag for one child
$60 provides a month of weekends for one child
$660 provides hunger-free weekends for a child for an entire school year
Teachers and school counselors tell us they see the difference every Monday. Children arrive more focused, more confident, and ready to learn because they know they had food over the weekend.
This NH Gives, our goal is to provide even more hunger-free weekends for children throughout New Hampshire and beyond. Every donation, no matter the size, helps put nourishing food directly into the hands of a child who needs it.
