Founded in 2000, Farmsteads of New England provides supportive day and residential services in a farm environment to adults with developmental disabilities.

Farmsteads of New England has created a world where resident 'farmers' do meaningful, productive work in rural, nurturing communities and learn how to live as independently as possible. Farmsteads of New England has two New Hampshire locations, Hillsborough and Epping. Hillsborough offers day and residential services on a working farm with cultivated crops, livestock, hand-crafted products along w

ith a seasonal farm stand. Epping has a day service program for growing crops, raising animals and enjoying nature. Residential services at the Epping farm are currently under development. Our programs are designed to provide each farmer with the opportunity to live a holistic lifestyle that encourages personal growth, interdependence, and self-confidence. Nothing better than a room full of smiles, colorful eggs, and a little friendly competition to see who finds the most.

The farmers and their mentors had an awesome time hunting, laughing, and enjoying the day together.

Moments like this are what it’s all about. Simple, fun, and full of connection.

Spring just got a whole lot cuter around here.

The baby goats have officially arrived and they wasted no time making themselves at home. Tiny hops, curious noses, and just enough attitude to keep things interesting. If you’ve never seen a baby goat bounce around like it’s got springs for legs, you’re missing out.
The farmers are already in love, and honestly, it’s hard not to be. There’s something about new life on the farm that just resets everything and reminds you why we do this.

Come by and meet the newest members of the herd. Just be warned… you might not want to leave.

We had such a fun day celebrating Labor Day with good food, great music, and plenty of games. From filling our plates to laughing together, it was a perfect way to enjoy the day and each other’s company.

Thank you to everyone who joined in and made the day so special — our Farmsteads family knows how to celebrate right!
