What a day!
The JJO Music Composition & Production Workshop was a sold out success, and the reaction videos from participants say it all. It was incredibly rewarding to see the workshop resonate with music enthusiasts across all age groups.
As promised, we composed and produced an original song together during the session, with several talented musicians collaborating live in the creative process. We are excited to share that this song will be presented at JJO Cultural Bridge 2026 on August 1st.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this such a memorable experience.
Thank you to all the people behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to help setup the workshop.
A special shout out to all the musicians who collaborated in the song making process.
Lastly a huge thank you to Sandip Mitra for conducting this incredible workshop. His passion for music, creativity, and willingness to demystify the art of composition and production made the entire session engaging, inspiring, and accessible to participants of all ages.

Workshop Schedule

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Composition – Explore how musical ideas are born, developed, and transformed into compelling musical concepts.

1:30 PM – 2:00 PM Arrangement – Learn how different instruments, textures, and musical layers come together to shape a song.

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM Production – Transform ideas into a finished track using modern production tools, techniques, and workflows.

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM Mixing & Mastering – Understand the art of making music sound polished, balanced, and professional.

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM Explore essential gear, plugins, and production workflows used in contemporary music creation, followed by an open discussion.

Workshop Highlight
By the end of the session, we will have created a complete song together from scratch. The finished piece will be featured across JJO’s social media platforms, and all participants will be recognized during our annual event, JJO Cultural Bridge 2026
