💗 Hearts of Hope Hillsborough is proud to support the Kotarsky family — Andrew, Rebecca, Adelyn & Asher.
Two weeks after welcoming their baby boy, the Kotarsky family received devastating news that their almost two-year-old daughter, Adelyn, had a rare pediatric tumor that was confirmed to be cancerous. In a short time, she underwent MRIs and extensive lab work revealing the high malignancy of the tumor, followed by two surgeries within one week, including the placement of a port.
Adelyn began chemotherapy on her second birthday. Her treatment requires five-day inpatient hospital stays, followed by ongoing monitoring, lab work, and care between cycles. She has already faced complications requiring a transfusion and an emergency room visit.
Due to the intensity of her treatment and being immunocompromised, both of her parents are currently out of work as they focus on her care and adjust to this incredibly difficult time.
Proceeds from our annual Laughing Matters / Ladies Night Out will support Hearts of Hope’s efforts to assist the Kotarsky family during this time. 💗
