Feeding Hands

10/09/2026

We’re starting to collect Thanksgiving donations, and we need your help!

We’re looking for turkeys, roaster chickens, and hams to help families enjoy a special holiday meal with the people they love.

If you’re able to donate, please consider adding one to your grocery cart or sharing this post with someone who can.

Every donation helps make the holiday a little brighter for a family in our community.

Let’s come together to make sure more tables are filled this Thanksgiving!🍁 🦃

Before a family fills their cart, there’s a whole team behind the scenes making it happen.

From sorting fresh produce and meat to stocking shelves and preparing for distribution, our volunteers are here making sure families have plenty to choose from.

There is something so special about the people who keep showing up.

To all of our volunteers who come back week after week and month after month - thank you. Your time, energy, and kindness make what we do possible. ❤️

And a special thank you to our friends from Whitestone for continuing to show up and serve alongside us. We are so grateful for you!

We’re so grateful for volunteers like Ellen and Kristin, who saw a need and found a way to help. 💜

Recently, Ellen and Kristin organized an Amazon Wish List drive to collect feminine care products and other essentials for our guests.

It’s a beautiful reminder that meeting a need can start with something as simple as noticing what’s missing and asking, “How can I help?”

Thank you, Ellen and Kristin, for caring so thoughtfully for our community!

This Hunger Action Month, we’re especially grateful for the people who choose to turn inspiration into action.

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers who joined us as part of the Kofi Burbridge Day of Service. They gave their time, brought pantry items, and helped us continue our work of making sure families have food on the table.

And thank you to the Hillsborough Public Library for donating an incredible 610 pounds of food to Feeding Hands!

Hunger Action Month is a reminder that we all have something to give - and every act of kindness counts.

Thank you for helping us turn generosity into action!
