A little challenge for the rest of the month. 🌿

Before the month is over, pick one Marketless Farmer stand to visit or one local order to place.

That’s it.

One stop. One order. One small choice to put a few more dollars into the hands of someone making, growing, baking, or creating right here in our community.

And if you’ve already shopped local recently, there are plenty of free ways to keep that support going too — give them a follow, leave a review, share their page, or tell a friend.

Small actions add up.

Open the Marketless Farmer map, find someone nearby, and make your pick before the month ends. 🌱

🌿 Meet Sapphic Seasons Herb Blends

Sapphic Seasons is bringing something wonderfully simple to the map: thoughtfully made herb blends using ingredients they grow themselves or ethically source.

Whether you’re refreshing the spice cabinet for fall cooking or looking for an easy local gift that will actually get used, these are the kinds of small-batch staples worth having around.

Take a look at their blends and coordinate directly with Sapphic Seasons today on Marketless Farmer for your order or pickup. 🍂🌿

🌾 Meet Three Little Loaves

Three Little Loaves is a local farmstand inspired by the owner’s three kiddos, and you can feel that family connection in everything coming out of it.

Right now, the s’mores-inspired options are especially worth checking out — the kind of fun, cozy flavors that make it very easy to add “just one more thing” to your order.

You can place an order ahead of time or simply stop by the stand and see what’s available.

If Three Little Loaves hasn’t been on your radar yet, now’s a pretty good time to fix that. 🤎

Tomorrow is the Neighborhood Microbakery Tour. 🥖🌾

After weeks of planning, baking, organizing, mapping, preserving, growing, and getting every last detail ready, it’s finally here.

From 9 AM to 2 PM on August 1st, you’ll be able to travel through the Beaverton and Aloha area, meet the people behind some incredible local bakeries and farmstands, and discover just how much is being made right here in our own community.

This tour is about more than picking up a loaf of bread. It’s a chance to slow down, meet your neighbors, try something new, and support the people building small businesses right here around us.

Take your time. Talk to people. Visit a stop you’ve never been to before. Bring a friend, bring your appetite, and make a day of it. 5stops gets you one raffle entry or go to all the stops to double your entries!

Complete the tour for a chance to win:

$100 cash grand prize
$50 gift card to 185th Produce
1 lb. of coffee from Piper’s Café
A sustainable laundry starter set from Westside Refillery
Plus additional local prizes

You can find the full map, stop details, and digital passport through Marketless Farmer.

I’ll be stationed at Treefell Farm & Bakery, and we’re all hoping to at least match the success of the last tour—but hopefully completely blow it out of the water.

See you tomorrow.

🌿 Tour Spotlight: Dubois Family Farmstand

Tomorrow’s the day, and one of the stops we’re excited for people to discover is Dubois Family Farmstand.

At the heart of it is a mom of nine who has built a life around making things last—raising a garden, raising a family, and preserving the harvest through canning and other time-honored methods.

There’s something deeply fitting about this stop being part of the tour. It’s not just about what’s on the table tomorrow. It’s about the work behind it, the knowledge passed down, and the care it takes to turn what’s grown at home into something that can be shared and enjoyed long after the season ends.

Come meet the family, explore the stand, and support a local household that puts so much heart into growing, preserving, and feeding their community.

The Neighborhood Microbakery Tour is tomorrow, August 1st, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

🌾 Tour Spotlight: Melissa Upperman

There’s something special about watching a big dream take root.

The Big Little Farms is the story of two sisters who left city life behind to build something lasting together: a generational family compound in the countryside, grounded in good food, hard work, and community.

They’re growing more than a farm. They’re creating a place their family can continue building for years to come, while sharing farm-fresh goods and homemade baked treats with the neighbors around them.

On August 1st, you’ll get the chance to visit The Big Little Farms as part of the Neighborhood Microbakery Tour, meet the sisters behind it, and experience a little piece of the life they’re creating.

This is exactly what we love about the tour. Behind every stop is a real family, a real story, and people putting their hands and hearts into something meant to last.

🌾 Tour Spotlight: Treefell Farm

It feels especially meaningful to introduce Kari and Cory of Treefell Farm, because so much of the heart behind this tour begins with people like them.

From the first time we sat down together over coffee, it was clear that they care deeply about more than simply baking great bread. They care about bringing people together, supporting other small makers, and creating the kind of community where neighbors genuinely show up for one another.

Kari and Cory have poured an incredible amount of time, energy, and heart into helping make the Neighborhood Microbakery Tour what it is. Their generosity, organization, and willingness to open their space have helped turn a simple idea into a full day of discovery, connection, and local pride.

Of course, the baking speaks for itself. Treefell Farm creates the kind of bread that reminds you how special it is to know who made your food and where it came from. But what makes this stop truly memorable is the warmth of the people behind it.

On August 1st, come meet Kari and Cory, explore Treefell Farm. and experience one of the places that helped bring this entire tour to life.

We’re incredibly grateful for them, and we can’t wait for more of our neighbors to discover what makes Treefell so special.

🥊 Tour Spotlight: Krista T.

We first met the team behind Hearth & Heart Bake Co. at a pop-up inside a local boxing club—which, honestly, feels pretty fitting for the baking powerhouse they are.

From the very beginning, it was obvious they poured an incredible amount of skill, care, and passion into every loaf. They’ve built a loyal following not by chasing trends, but by consistently baking exceptional bread that keeps people coming back week after week.

On August 1st, you’ll have the chance to visit Hearth & Heart as part of the Neighborhood Microbakery Tour, meet the wonderful people behind the bakery, and see for yourself why they’ve become such a beloved part of our local baking community.

Come hungry, say hello, and don’t be surprised if this becomes one of the stops you find yourself returning to long after the tour is over.

If you’ve spent any time around the local baking community, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Faye.

She’s one of those people who seems to know everyone, welcomes everyone, and somehow always has something wonderful coming out of the oven. Her warmth and personality have made BroMomma Bakery a favorite for so many neighbors, and we’re excited to have her as a stop on this year’s Neighborhood Microbakery Tour.

On August 1st, you’ll get to visit BroMomma Bakery, meet Faye in person, and of course leave with some incredible baked goods. It’s exactly the kind of stop that reminds us these tours are about more than bread—they’re about the people who make our community special.

If you’re planning your tour route, be sure to spend a little extra time at BroMomma Bakery. We think you’ll understand why so many people keep coming back.
