Communities for Sensible Schools is incredibly proud of our effort to provide common sense and balance to the Hillsboro School District.
Our slate of candidates Terri Kam, Shawnna Arns and Bart Rask stood for an increased focus on academics, increased transparency and better collaboration with teachers and parents. While not successful, we know that these are shared values of the community and we look forward to continuing our work for a better academic future for our kids.
We can’t thank our many supporters, volunteers and neighbors enough for your outpouring of support and tireless work. You truly inspired us and pushed us to work harder.
Now is the time to put any differences to the side, unite as a community and to put our students first. Because when the Hillsboro community comes together - there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
