It's National Principal Appreciation Day! We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding principals of North Shore School District 112! The 112 Education Foundation’s work would not be possible without this team's partnership and support.

We are especially grateful to Indian Trail principal Sydnee McDermott, who serves as a trustee on the 112 Education Foundation. Thank you to Principal McDermott for her leadership!

It's official! The two grades with the highest participation in this year's FUNd Run are the SECOND grade and the SIXTH grade! Congratulations and thank you to the second and sixth graders for turning out in force at the event.

Last week, the winning grades celebrated with an extra recess and popsicles! 🎉

We are collecting running shoes for Shoes for Runners! Please bring your used running shoes to the FUNd Run packet pickup at Indian Trail (9/24 and 9/25) or to Ravinia Festival (9/26). We will have collection bins at both locations.

Shoes For Runners provides running shoes for underserved young people so every kid can be active!

Shoes of any condition are accepted; Shoes for Runners will recycle shoes that are too worn to be used.

Since the very first FUNd Run, 24 years ago, First Bank of Highland Park has supported this event.

We are grateful for the bank's support again this year as our Presenting Sponsor. For over two decades, First Bank of Highland Park has impacted students in Highland Park and Highwood through its sponsorship. With deep appreciation, we recognize and thank First Bank of Highland Park for its continued support.
