The Art Center Highland Park is thrilled to announce "Unfamiliar Patterns," an upcoming exhibition from artists Eleanor Spiess-Ferris () and Michael Ferris (.ferris.sculpture) opening on November 6.

Eleanor Spiess-Ferris is a nationally celebrated painter whose fantastical paintings are alive with mystery and intrigue. She will be showcasing a new series of gouache paintings alongside Michael Ferris, her son and a renowned NYC-based sculptor. Michael Ferris's larger than life wooden sculptures are portraits of people he loves, carved through a method inspired by an ancient Damascan wood intarsia process.

Join us for the opening reception of "Unfamiliar Patterns" on Friday, November 6 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.
