The Highland Park Community Foundation has announced the 2026 recipient of the Foundation's Jack Blane Community Service Award: Rhoda Pierce

The Jack Blane Community Service Award is presented annually to a community member whose generosity, leadership, and compassion reflect the legacy of Jack Blane β€” a lifelong advocate for service and civic engagement.

For more than five decades, Rhoda Pierce has been a dedicated leader, volunteer, and advocate in the Highland Park-Highwood community, with an enduring commitment to the arts, education, civic life, and community engagement.
