Why did you decide to become a firefighter?

Mike Schwantez encouraged me to join when I moved back to the area in my early 20's

What's your favorite thing about being on the fire department?

All the people I've met and memories, stories but I joke it's for the free hats and sweatshirts

I enjoy hunting and fishing and spending time with family

Most Memorable career moment?

Helping at The Wadena Tornado, The Green Valley Fire by Menahga
And The large Fire by Aldrich

What do you do besides be a firefighter?

I work for the wadena county highway dept
And Triple SSS service.
