Hey everyone! We’re teaming up with the Reno Aces on July 26th to catch them play the Tacoma Rainiers, and we’d love to have you there with us. Part of the money from ticket sales is going straight to CVMA Chapter 41-2 to help local veterans in our community. So you get to enjoy a fun night at the ballpark AND help out some people who’ve served.Whether you’re into baseball, just want to hang out with fellow riders and veterans, or grab some good food and drinks while you’re there, it’s a great way to spend an evening. Bring your friends, bring your family whoever wants to be part of something that actually makes a difference.Let’s pack the bleachers and show some love for our community!

QUARTERMASTER SPOTLIGHT – OPIE

Army 11B Infantryman with the 101st Airborne, Opie brings a mindset forged through experience—always thinking ahead, always prepared. One lesson that stuck with him:
PRAY FOR THE BEST, EXPECT THE WORST.

For him, being a veteran never stopped. It just shifted into a new mission—taking care of his brothers and sisters, just like active duty.

He found CVMA 41-2 through a chance meeting at RMS, talking with Whiskey and instantly feeling that old platoon vibe again. One meeting later, he knew—this wasn’t just a riding group. This was family.

As Quartermaster, Opie keeps our patches, coins, and gear dialed in—but more importantly, he protects what they stand for. Every piece represents sacrifice, service, and a bond most will never understand. Wear it with pride, integrity, and honor.

Looking forward, he wants more involvement, stronger participation, and a chapter store to help fuel our mission of Veterans Helping Veterans.

At the end of the day, it’s simple—serve the chapter, support the mission, and take care of your people.

…and yeah, probably also be remembered as the guy who went airborne after hitting a traffic cone
