Soft Landing Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc. We are a 501c3 animal rescue taking in reptiles, cats, mini horses, and outdoor feathered friends. We rescue cats, reptiles, miniature horses and mini donkeys.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit small animal rescue who focuses on helping neglected, abused, sick, injured animals; rehabilitating them, and finding them approved homes. We educate the public on the importance of TNR, allowing sufficient time for the new pet to settle in to new surroundings, and educating others on how to socialize unsocialized cats. We provide educational days with our rescued reptiles

, farm days to brighten up residents in nursing homes. We travel all over PA, NY, Nj, Ohio to rescue animals in need. We also help to transport rescues to other rescue facilities, or new homes.

I held her today and promised her I’d find her a home of her own as soon as possible. She tucked her head under my chin. She is perfectly fine being held. Relaxes when being pet. She would settle in so quickly in the right home.

She is 2 years old. Spayed. Up to date on vaccines. Will be microchipped prior to adoption.

How is Dakota still here?!

We can’t believe this handsome Malamute is still waiting for a home. Dakota is everything people love about the breed - active, adventurous, and always ready to be your next hiking, walking, or exploring buddy.

Not only is he gorgeous, but he has absolutely rocked offsite events that he’s attended, and is open to meeting kids who are comfortable around large dogs and other pups.

Come meet Dakota and see for yourself why we’re so surprised he’s still here. We have a feeling the right person is going to fall in love fast!

This sweet, sweet girl needs an immediate home of her own.
I am looking for a quiet home, maybe with someone who is semi-retired/retired and wants a companion.
Her name is Porky. She is very shy. Not reactive. Just timid.
Porky’s owner passed away. Not only did she lose the only person she knew and was comfortable around, she also lost her two furry friends (2 other cats) and now her home.
She is allowing me to pet her. While I’m petting her and holding her, she is looking around checking things out.
She quickly became friends with her owner’s neighbor/friend and would greet her at the door. The friend would go to her owners home everyday to feed her. But Porky was alone in the home. No furry friends and only human contact when being fed.
We were asked to take her due to her owner’s home is going to be sold soon.
Porky is spayed (tip of ear is clipped)
And up to date on rabies vaccine. She will receive a distemper vaccine tomorrow.
If you know of anyone looking for a sweet cat, who lives in a quiet home and needs a companion….. please contact me as soon as possible.

This sweet little girl is available for adoption. She was spayed and vaccinated today. She is +FIV but that does NOT mean that she can’t share a home with another cat. Please read about FIV before you look past this sweet girl. She is starving for attention. She has been living outside, begging to come in. She wants to play with toys, lay on your lap and get lots of cuddles and treats. She does have some hair loss due to over grooming from fleas. She has been flea treated. She is still a bit skinny, but she is a wonderful eater.
You can meet this sweetheart at Pet Supplies Plus in Lewisburg this coming week.
I have not tested her with dogs. But she is cat friendly.

We are asking for donations of urinary dry cat food. We now have two male cats that are on urinary cat food and our supply is going down pretty fast.
Purina urinary dry cat food and wet cat food would be greatly appreciated.
Boda is doing better. He is still on some meds until his urine clears up.

Autumn is one of our semi social kitties who isn’t too fond of being pet. She loves being with the other kitties and has quite a personality.
