Good morning, Closet family and friends,
We are open today and have returned to our regular business hours.
As many of you know, the store was closed yesterday so our staff and volunteers could participate in Mental Health First Aid training.
We extend our sincere thanks to Beth Hitchings from Dranesville United Methodist for organizing such a meaningful event. The training provided valuable information to support not only our staff and volunteers, but also the broader community we serve.
We would also like to thank Laura Greenspan and First Baptist Church for graciously hosting the training.
Mental health challenges can affect individuals and families in many different ways. Anyone who is struggling, supporting someone else, or simply looking for additional information is welcome to stop by the store. We have resource materials available that were provided by the Mental Health First Aid facilitators. Additional information and resources are also available at mhfa.org.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support!
Warm regards,
The Closet Team
