‎স্টাফ রিপোর্টার: মৌলভীবাজারের কুলাউড়া উপজেলার জয়চন্ডী ইউনিয়নের আবুতালিপুর গ্রামের ব্রেন টিউমারে আক্রান্ত ১৫ বছর বয়সী স্কুলছাত্রী নুসরাত জাহান অর্পির চিকিৎসায় সহায়তার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে জে. এ. ফ্যামেলী ফাউন্ডেশন। নুসরাতের চিকিৎসার জন্য তার পরিবারের হাতে ২ লাখ টাকা আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করেছে ফাউন্ডেশনটি।

‎নুসরাত দিলদারপুর উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের নবম শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থী। প্রায় দুই বছর ধরে অসুস্থতায় ভুগছিল সে। সম্প্রতি শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি হলে গত ২০ আগস্ট সিলেটে সিটি স্ক্যান করানো হয়। পরীক্ষায় তার ব্রেন টিউমার শনাক্ত হয়। উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য দ্রুত ঢাকায় নিয়ে অপারেশন করানোর পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন চিকিৎসকরা। তার চিকিৎসায় প্রায় ৮ লাখ টাকা প্রয়োজন বলে জানিয়েছে পরিবার।

‎পরিবারের পক্ষে এই বিপুল চিকিৎসা ব্যয় বহন করা কঠিন হয়ে পড়ায় নুসরাতের চিকিৎসায় সমাজের বিত্তবান ও সহৃদয় মানুষের কাছে সহযোগিতার আবেদন জানানো হয়েছিল।

‎এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় আজ নুসরাতের পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়ায় জে. এ. ফ্যামেলী ফাউন্ডেশন। ২৫ আগষ্ট ফাউন্ডেশনের পক্ষ থেকে নুসরাতের চিকিৎসার জন্য ২ লাখ টাকা প্রদান করা হয়।

‎এ সময় ফাউন্ডেশনের চেয়ারম্যান মো. আছাব আলী বলেন, আমরা এই শহরের মানুষের জন্য আমার সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী কিছু করতে চাই। নুসরাতের চিকিৎসায় আমাদের এই সামান্য সহযোগিতা যদি তার জীবনে কাজে আসে, সেটিই আমাদের জন্য সবচেয়ে বড় পাওয়া। সমাজের বিত্তবান ও সামর্থ্যবান মানুষদেরও নুসরাতের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর আহ্বান জানাই।

‎নুসরাতের পরিবার জে. এ. ফ্যামেলী ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেছে এবং মেয়েটির দ্রুত সুস্থতার জন্য সবার কাছে দোয়া চেয়েছে।
