PARENTS: HOW is back to school going at your house?!?! ✏️🚌⏰📚📓🍎😮‍💨 We hope all the students are starting to adjust to their new schedules! Make sure to give yourself grace for any hiccups along the way … anyone overslept yet?! 👋🏼 Check out some of these photos from our Back to School Bash we hosted last month. Congratulations to Eve for winning the grand prize for our drawing contest— “A Favorite Memory at Wembly.” 🌟 How sweet! Another BIG THANKS to Bloom Health Centers (play-based therapy for kids located at Henrico Doctors Hospital) for donating the phenomenal goodie bags for kiddos who attended‼️

HEY THERE, Hard Workers‼️We are honoring all who share their professional talents with our community this Labor Day. Celebrate Labor Day with us poolside at Wembly. We’re grilling up doggies 🌭 ($6 meal) and burgers 🍔 ($8 meal), and also preparing some fresh chicken sammies 🍗 ($8 meal). Come eat lunch by the pool on Monday… it’s our tradition! We are also going to pull out the popcorn machine 🍿 so come grab a bag!!
⏳Hours on Labor Day are 11-8.
💲Guests are welcome with their $10 Guest Fee.

🚨This is our last open day of 2026 since we have been open during the week and since Labor Day is late this year. Make it count and get some splashes in!

It’s back ❕ Adults ONLY swim is back again for 2026. This is time strictly for members (no guests permitted) who are over 18 years old to relax, exercise, and socialize at Wembly. Please know this time is **swim at your own risk** as there is no lifeguard on duty. These hours are managed by our amazing Treasurer and Concessions Director, Brenda! Come on up and spend some of the middle of the day by the pool from 10.30-12.30 this week and next!!

Wembly is OPEN this afternoon from 4.30PM-8PM for all to enjoy!!!

Thanks for coming to spending time with us at the Back to School BASH 📌✂️✏️🚌📓 today! We had a blast 💥 with our games, we ate some yummy food and treats 🍦, and shared lots of giggles with great company 🤭. What a wacky weather summer we have had! 🤪 Soak in the last few hours poolside before the 26-27 school year starts ‼️We have a Sunday •F•U•N•D•A•Y• planned on 8.23.26: coloring 🖍️, prizes 🏆, games 💦🍉, and more!!!! Bloom Health Centers, Richmond, has donated Take Care of Your Brain 🧠 ✨goodie bags ✨ for our STUDENT MEMBERS attending our back to school bash this coming Saturday! Come to our PARTY between 11.30AM and 3PM this coming Saturday!! 🚌✂️✏️📚🍎 We will have fried chicken sandwiches 🍗 available from the Snack Shack! A list of pool games and activities (SNEAK PEEK 👀 : 🍉) will be coming out later this week.

Bloom Health Centers, Richmond, has an office at Parham Doctors Hospital, MOB lll. They accept all insurances- including Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare- and treat kiddos ages 5 and up needing mental health support. Need support with transitioning back to school? 📢 We are so happy to announce that Wembly has won GRAL’s Division 4 Len Everett Sportsmanship Award for 2026! We are honored to receive this distinction for the second year in a row. 📢

With hearts ❤️ full of pride, we recognize our coaches, our parent volunteers, and swimmers for their reputation as friendly and fair competitors this summer! Read on: The Len Everett Sportsmanship Award was established in 1984 by the Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL) to honor the memory of a man who was instrumental in the founding and structuring of the league. Leonard Everett, from Hungary Creek Recreation Association, stood for the highest ideals of fair competition and good sportsmanship. A plaque is awarded every year to one club in each division (Wembly: Division 4️⃣) whose swimmers, coaches, and parents have best exhibited these qualities. The GRAL Board Representative from each team submit their first and second choice for this award. The choices must come from within the voting team’s same division, and the voting team cannot include itself.
