We can't always name it. We only know we haven't found it. We want to be loved. We know we don't deserve it. We know what we've done. We wish we weren't known for our worst moments.

Ministry begins in the prisons of Guatemala!

Because of the faithful investment of thousands of partners and several years of prayerful groundwork, Good News Global is officially launching its ministry in Guatemala.

Your support has helped build strong relationships with more than ten churches and ministries already serving within Guatemala’s prison system. These partnerships have opened doors into seven correctional facilities—an important beginning in a nation with approximately twenty-seven prisons.

Most significantly, after careful evaluation and planning, Pastor William Sandoval has been appointed as National Coordinator for Good News Guatemala. With years of experience in prison ministry and deep local connections, he is now preparing to launch the official ministry.

What began as a vision and preparation is becoming a Gospel presence on the ground—creating new opportunities to bring hope, discipleship, and the message of Jesus behind bars in Guatemala.

God is opening doors in new nations, new prisons, and new regions. But we cannot step through those doors without partners who will go with us.

Frank understood. Nothing held him back.

Sending chaplains behind bars!

Around the world, incarceration does more than deprive people of physical freedom. It strips away identity—who a person is—and crushes hope—why they should keep going or change their ways?

What is the purpose of their life? Shame becomes the loudest voice. Despair becomes the everyday reality. The future is bleak, stripped of hope and purpose.

But into the darkness, the Gospel speaks to those who are open and listening, offering freedom, identity, and hope.
