The Gospel Doesn't Stop at the Prison Gate!
When Theogene entered Rubavu Correctional Facility in Rwanda, he was serving a three-year sentence for crimes he had committed.
But behind those prison walls, something happened that would change the direction of his life.
Through a Community Bible Study (CBS) class, Theogene gave his life to Jesus Christ.
And when he walked out of prison, he carried something home with him that he couldn't keep to himself—the Good News of Jesus!
He began sharing his testimony with his wife, family, and neighbors. He opened God's Word with them, telling them how Christ had changed his life and showing them the same love he had experienced from fellow believers in prison.
And people noticed.
His wife and neighbors testified that Theogene had truly changed.
Today, Theogene and Eric (pictured beside him), both recently released and both having come to Christ while incarcerated, are reminders of something extraordinary:
The Gospel doesn't stop with one transformed life. It multiplies!
One person hears the Good News. One life is changed. And that person begins sharing Jesus with others—reaching families, neighbors, and communities far beyond prison walls.
This is the power of the Gospel. This is freedom behind bars. And this is how the Good News keeps spreading!
