East Richmond Beekeepers Association Our club welcomes both new and experienced Beekeepers! We meet at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

The East Richmond Beekeepers Association (ERBA) is dedicated to supporting beekeepers and strengthening the beekeeping community. Our goals include promoting effective and sustainable beekeeping practices, encouraging cooperation and shared problem-solving, building positive relationships with organizations that support pollinators and the beekeeping industry, expanding markets for beekeeping products, fostering mentorship and community among our members, and educating the public about honey bees and the value of beekeeping. At our monthly meetings, members gather for guest speakers, demonstrations, topical discussions, and instructional videos. These meetings help beekeepers stay current with the latest research and best practices, troubleshoot hive issues, and connect with one another. They also provide opportunities for networking, mentoring new beekeepers, sharing ideas, and planning occasional field trips and hands-on activities. ERBA remains committed to promoting public awareness about honey bees, responsible beekeeping, and the many products bees provide.

ERBA is heading to Triple Crossing Fulton in November! 🐝 🍺

We’re excited to announce that our November 3 meeting will be held at Triple Crossing Fulton brewery — and we’d love to pack the place for our first meeting there!

⏰ Happy Half Hour at 6:30 PM | Meeting at 7:00 PM

Our November program features Alexandra Muhly and Sophia Alcaine from VDACS talking about Nosema and microscopy.

Feel free to come early for dinner/drinks or enjoy something during the meeting! (Purchases are totally optional — but it beats surviving on meeting cookies!) And really, what goes better with pizza and b**r than an educational discussion about bee diarrhea? 🍕 🍺 🐝 💩 😂

We have spring nucs still available. $200 for 5-frame nucs, $300 for 10-frame nuc or $35/frame of brood and bees to make a nuc the size you want.

Henrico's annual Pollinator Festival and Spring Plant Sale returned to the county on Saturday with plants, bees, flowers and more.
