Elder abuse is a serious global issue impacting millions of older adults every year. On this important day, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands united in raising awareness about the mistreatment and neglect of our elders.

We are committed to creating a world where our seniors are respected, valued, and protected. Let’s take action by:

As Pride Month begins, we proudly uplift the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community and reaffirm our support for equality, dignity, and love for all. We believe everyone has the right to love who they love, every day of the year.

Earlier this morning, Dr. Tinkhani White, SDZ Scholarship Chair & Soror Nikisha Bailey, 2nd VP had the honor of attending Senior Awards Day at Hermitage High School and recognizing our 2026 Darlene L. Hamilton Memorial Scholarship recipients Miss Niyah Willis and Miss Riley Wynn!!

Miss Willis will be attending Hampton University to pursue her studies in architecture in order to create spaces that are not only functional, but meaningful.

Miss Wynn will be attending Blue Ridge Community College to pursue her studies in Veterinary Science and become a certified veterinary technician with an interest in laboratory work involving microscopic mites and bacteria.

Congratulations Niyah and Riley!!! On behalf of the ladies of Sigma Delta Zeta Chapter, we wish you both every success in your upcoming studies!
