Kitchen Table did an awesome job , also the area businesses who contributed, food lion , Gus’s diner , the retailers who sold tickets and the community of Lake Gaston for always supporting us ! LOL has two important announcements today. First, thinking of the safety of each of our wonderful LOL supporters, it has been decided due to the weather to cancel our in-person fundraising Bunco for Brandon Baggatta. The second announcement is much harder, Brandon lost his battle with cancer this weekend

LOL is still moving forward with our fundraising efforts for Brandon’s. Cancer is not only cruel, but expensive. LOL will be making a donation this month, and you can make a huge impact to his family by your contribution.

Please keep Brandon’s wife Sara and his 5 young children in your thoughts and prayers.

Ladies of the Lake Bunco will return on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. This will be a special Bunco in honor of Brandon Baggatta, one of our current cancer recipients. Brandon is 31 years old; he and his wife, Sara, have five young children. Brandon has squamous cell carcinoma of the left buccal mucosa (cheeks and lips), a very aggressive cancer. He is currently nonverbal and has a chronic trach. Please come out to Bunco on February 3rd and help us help Brandon!
