Operation Vets with Nets

Operation Vets with Nets Our vets can learn that they are not alone in the mental or physical fight they all share. Our Vision: Being there for those in need.

Operation Vets with Nets is dedicated to the emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military, retired, and veteran service personnel through Cat and Striper fishing. Here at Operation Vets with Nets, a 501 (c) (3) organization, our goal is help improve the quality of life for all veterans suffering from PTSD or related disabilities. We will accomplish this through an all-expense paid fishing

adventure for active-duty and veterans to get them into the outdoors with other veterans and those that want to give back to our vets. We have some evidence that being in the outdoors and physical activities appears to help calm the mind of veterans, minimize nightmares, and allows for the healing process to take place. Studies have been conducted show folks who have PTSD and taken a fishing trip have had a decrease in PTS, depression, perceived stress, and functional impairment, and an increase in leisure satisfaction. Giving Back to those that gave, all through the power of fishing.

Fishing Industry Sponsorship Package

While large corporations often provide financial backing, the fishing industry provides something equally powerful — the gear, equipment, and experiences that make this event extraordinary.

Many of our fishing partners may not have large marketing budgets — but their products carry tremendous value. Rods, reels, tackle, marine accessories, apparel, electronics, and outdoor equipment create excitement for our veterans and elevate the entire experience.

We are proud to offer a sponsorship structure that recognizes both cash contributions and high-value in-kind product donations.
